what a fantastic evening into coloseum. I have been with my wife yesterday. no line no waiting straight away with talented tour guide (ALI) highly recommended

Wanted to give 0, shame is not possible! HUGE SCAM COMPANY!!! I bought tickets online for the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatinum, which should be valid for 24 hours. The salesman Ali assured us that I would get the tickets after the Colosseum tour in the evening, which lasted less than an hour. After that I received the tickets from the guide (who was nice and I believe has nothing to do with the company), but both tickets were invalid and already used by someone else!!!! We wanted to go to th e Roman Forum next morning and they wouldn't let us in because the ticket was already used by someone else!!! I called the hotline several times that day and when I finally got through, I was told that they will send me the ticket via WhatsApp. I did not receive my bill for payment yet, nor original tickets. I was trying to contact the company since few weeks again and again and never got respond. Only now I go through again on the phone and was connected to a very rude and unhelpful man who just hang up the phone. This is an outrageous scam company and I have never seen anything like this with any other agency!!! … – show

Really terrible experience. I booked a night time tour of Coliseum via Viator who subcontracted it to What in Italy. I had confirmations from both Viator and a personal What's App confirmation from Ali of What's in Italy. Despite these confirmations, Ali then messaged to say a few hours before the tour it was cancelled as the tour was overbooked!!

I explained that we were specifically booking for a child's school project and travelling to Rome that day by train and had booked a hotel close to t he Coliseum. However he really didn't care and tried to claim the What's App message was auto generated even though it was direct from his What's App mobile.

He offered a day time tour but the time was before we could arrive and I explained that it was specifically the Arena and lower sections we wanted to see by evening as booked 3 days previously. He was really unhelpful and did not care. So if you do receive confirmations do not take it as an actual space as Whats in Italy will from my personal experience have zero consideration and cancel you due to their complete incompetence at managing a simple booking which was prepaid. We want to give a shoutout to Ali Abd el Wahed, who we met outside the Colosseum! We had not booked tickets in advance and had no idea we needed them… the tickets were sold out for the rest of our stay in Rome, and Ali offered us a guided tour of the Colosseum. We didn't take him up on the offer but saw him later and decided to go for it — unfortunately the tour was no longer available, but then later, we looked for Ali and he informed us that there were two tickets available to enter the Colo sseum for a very reasonable price! The tickets were completely legitimate and got us our tour of the Colosseum. Ali was incredibly friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. We wished we'd gotten to take the guided tour with him! We wouldn't have had the same experience without him. Would recommend these tours! … – show

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I wanted to give 0 stars but it would not let me. This was simply the worst experience I have had using a tour company. I had booked a skip the line guided tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forums. While walking to the meeting location I received a message saying that the meeting spot had been relocated. When I arrived at the new location there were several other costumers who were as well struggling to get to their tour. Our tour guide Ali Baba was no where to be se en and the other workers there said they had not seen him for days. On a professional level this is the most deplorable company I have come across in my life. We ended up finding Ali Baba (who had not picked up his phone for the 45 minutes we had been waiting at the location in 100 degree heat) who had told us he had nothing to do with any of this and took no responsibility of his own. Not only that but he proceeded to argue he was not Ali Baba (which he was). Meanwhile, he was supposedly the co-founder of the company which is stated under his headshot on his business card. He then gave away our tour and convinced us the tour never existed in the first place. Which is far from the truth because we received several confirmation emails and texts before coming to Roma. Ali Baba pulled a bait and switch on us and we are extremely dissapointed with the poor service this company had to offer. To make up for the catastrophic day Ali Baba offered a tour that was not even comparable to the original tour we had booked. When I come to Roma I do not want to waste my day desperately looking for a guide who has gone MIA. This is inexcusable and What’s In Italy Tours needs to get their act together. … – show

Great tour to the Coliseum & Roman Forum. Our guide was great, a fair bit of Johnny Depp about him.....very entertaining and informative.

Ali is an amazing tour director and guide. He made me feel comfortable from the first moment. He made sure I knew the drop off points, as well as confirmed all the times and places beforehand. He has amazing tour guides working for him, and he provides truly the best tours available in Italy. I will be going with What’s In Italy Tours again when I return!

Compramos un tour para ver el Coliseo y el Roman Forum con un guía oficial. Nos dejaron tirados en mitad del tour sin ninguna explicación y nunca supimos mas de ellos. Sinvergüenzas.

Andi was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had some issues with the scheduling, but What’s In Italy was super accommodating and overly made up for the complications. Would highly recommend!

It was a pleasure to listen to a guide who is so passionate about the history. Vincenzo was fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly.
Easy to reach the meeting point and the staff was well organized.

We booked after hearing about this group tour from our friends. The weather was perfect, there were not many tourists around for some reason and our guide, who is a trained archeologist, managed to get us a little extra on top of the standard tour as she could get into restricted areas like the Arena floor. Great experience also in the Roman Foroum. Thanks a lot Whats In Italy

Luckily we booked a tour with Whats In Italy and it was the highlight of our experience in Rome. Our tour guide was amazing! We enjoyed every minute of the tour and learned a lot about gladiators and roman history. She was knowledgeable and charismatic. I highly recommend this group tour

I visited Vatican Museum and the Basilica of Saint Peter with this company. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable while the staff at the meeting point very well organized. High recommend

Wow! Never expect to find myself walking through the colosseum and experiencing the RICH history that it has to offer. Our guide provided us with a great array of knowledge about the area we were in and also shocked me with new and interesting facts about Rome. Not only was our guide great at touring us through the area but also he gave us very helpful tips about how to navigate the maze that is Rome. He helped us find books on the subjects we toured. He was charming and intelligent and I woul d highly recommend. … – show

Really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide SAM was funny & knowledgeable, the whole experience was over far too soon — definitely one of the highlights of our Rome experience. Highly recommended
